06 / Storyline / E-learning

E-learning localization.
Every slide. Every interaction.

We localize Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 courses and interactive H5P content. We prepare content for translation, integrate multimedia and check functionality. We can also set up your own LMS platform on Moodle or WordPress.

Your language team provides approved translations and subject-matter decisions. We prepare the project for localization, adapt slides and interactions and check the course in the agreed environment.

Storyline / E-learning

Scope of support / Storyline / E-learning

A course is more than text on a slide.

Storyline localization also covers layers, object states, quizzes, player elements, graphics, audio and video. We identify all agreed elements so that the language version is consistent and can be completed successfully.

PREP

Content analysis and export

We check the .story project, course structure and assets. We prepare content for translation, adapting export and import to the project version and agreed workflow, for example using XLIFF. We also identify text in graphics and multimedia.

SLIDES

Post-translation slide layout

We adapt text fields, captions, layouts and styles to the length of the target language. We check content in layers, object states, messages and player elements within the agreed scope.

MEDIA

E-learning localization: audio, video and graphics

We integrate localized graphics, subtitles and narration. We adapt timelines, element display durations and voice synchronization. New TTS recordings and video production can be combined with course localization.

INTERACTIONS

Interactions, quizzes and navigation

We check triggers, transitions, buttons, states and feedback messages. We test course and quiz paths to ensure that translated text and multimedia changes do not disrupt interactions.

REVIEW

SME review and revisions

We prepare a version for SME review, for example in Review 360 or another agreed environment. Reviewers assess the course in the context of slides, narration and interactions. We implement approved feedback and check the revised elements.

LMS

QA and SCORM publishing

We publish Storyline and Rise 360 courses for an LMS, for example as SCORM 1.2/2004. We deploy H5P materials in a compatible environment such as Moodle or WordPress. We check launch, completion, scores and resume behavior within the capabilities of the content type and platform.

RISE / H5P

Rise 360 and H5P localization

We also work with Articulate Rise 360 courses and H5P activities. We localize text, multimedia, questions and messages, then check responsiveness and interactions. Content exchange is adapted to the available source files and the capabilities of the activity type.

MOODLE / WP

Your own LMS platform

We set up a dedicated training server and platform using Moodle or WordPress with an agreed LMS solution. We configure courses, roles, enrollment and access to materials. Deployment, reporting requirements, backups and ongoing maintenance are agreed as a separate project scope.

How we work together

Clear responsibilities. Agreed approval points.

We adapt the scope to your project. Your team makes linguistic and subject-matter decisions, while KeboDesign handles the agreed production and technical checks.

5Publishing and delivery

Your team

You confirm package requirements and provide access to the agreed test environment.

KeboDesign

We export the course, test the agreed reporting behavior and deliver the LMS package and source project where included in scope.

The course in its target environment

A finished export is not yet a verified deployment.

SCORM is an exchange standard, but course behavior should still be checked in the target LMS. We agree what counts as completion, how quiz results are reported and when users should resume from their last position.

We test the course in an agreed environment, such as Moodle or TalentLMS, and document the results. If you do not have a platform, we can set up a Moodle LMS server or WordPress with a suitable LMS plugin. The solution is selected around users, enrollment, reporting and content types, including H5P; SCORM support in WordPress is checked for the chosen solution.

Materials for a quote

What helps us plan the work?

  • The Storyline project (.story), access to the Rise 360 course or H5P materials (.h5p), plus audio, video, graphics and fonts.
  • Target languages, translations and terminology guidelines.
  • Target LMS, export standard and completion or quiz scoring rules.
  • SME review scope, test environments, deadline and delivery formats.

Questions / Storyline / E-learning

Let’s define the right scope of support.

Do you localize text outside the main slide?

Yes. The scope can include layers, states, player elements, quiz messages and graphics. We analyze the project to identify elements requiring translation or reconstruction.

Can the course be translated using XLIFF?

We select an approach suited to the project and tool version. We can prepare files for an agreed XLIFF workflow and test the import on a sample before full production.

Can you add TTS narration and subtitles to a course?

Yes. We agree the script, narration samples, timing and subtitle formats. After integration, we check consistency with the content and slide interactions.

Do you test courses in Moodle or TalentLMS?

We can test agreed scenarios in an available client environment. We define the scope, access, package standard and completion criteria before work begins.

What if we only have a SCORM package without the .story file?

We first assess update options and available assets. A published package does not replace complete source files for unrestricted course editing; any reconstruction is quoted separately.

How will the finished course be delivered?

As a package in the agreed LMS standard and, where included, the Storyline project, editable Rise 360 course or H5P materials and assets. We agree review versions and QA documentation separately.

Do you also work in Rise 360 and H5P?

Yes. We localize Rise 360 courses and H5P materials, including text, multimedia, quizzes and messages. We need access to an editable course or appropriate source materials. Exchange formats and test coverage are agreed for each project.

Can you set up our own LMS?

Yes. We can deploy a dedicated Moodle server or a WordPress training platform with an agreed LMS solution. We configure course structures, users, enrollment and permissions. Reporting, integrations, deployment and ongoing maintenance are quoted separately.
